A small project. A clear responsibility.
Mélih founded Before Further to help people clarify money and travel decisions before committing more.
Why this exists
Money and travel can turn an uncertain relationship question into an immediate commitment. Before Further is designed to make that commitment explicit: the amount, the date, the missing information and the action that remains under your control.
The initial service is the Money & Trip Decision Sprint 48 h. The wider publication covers practical decision organisation, respectful conversations and first-meeting planning. It does not offer a nationality-based score or claim to reveal another person's intentions.
Who is behind the publication?
Before Further was founded by Mélih, a French-born engineer who has lived in Thailand since 2022. He now lives there with his wife and their two daughters.
The project grew out of a four-year international relationship in which repeated money requests, shifting explanations and emotional pressure became increasingly difficult to separate from genuine commitments. Mélih says he lost more than EUR 150,000 before he sought outside perspectives and began documenting the patterns he had missed.
That experience is not proof about another person's intentions, a country or a culture. It explains the narrower question behind Before Further: what facts, promises, limits and unknowns should be made explicit before someone sends more money, books a trip or deepens a commitment?
Before Further is a founder-led publication, not a fictitious team. Mélih brings an engineering habit of separating facts, assumptions and decisions; he does not claim a clinical, investigative, legal or financial credential. No client result is presented as proof.
How the initial resources were prepared
The launch resources use the project's decision framework and primary-source guidance. Technical and source checks are documented separately. New articles require Mélih's named approval before publication. That review does not turn the material into professional advice or expert certification.
What we can show now
You can read the full method, a clearly labelled fictional example memo and the free decision checklist. These show the intended work more honestly than unearned testimonials or a fabricated track record.
What we will not use as evidence
Editorial illustrations are not client portraits. An illustration is not a case. A forum discussion is not a customer. A test payment is not revenue. A planned service is not proof of a delivered outcome.
