Editorial standards & corrections

Specific questions. Primary sources. Explicit unknowns.

The promise

Each resource should help a reader take a practical next step without pretending to know more about a relationship than the available information supports. We do not infer character, honesty, exclusivity or risk from nationality, gender, income or a cultural label.

Evidence labels

Government advice and provider documentation are preferred for rules and service behaviour. Public discussions may inform the questions we cover, but are not population statistics or evidence about an individual reader's partner.

Authorship and review

Before Further is the publisher of the initial resources. Mélih is the founder and responsible human editor. New articles require his named approval of facts, tone and conclusions before publication. No external expert review is implied, and we do not invent citations, credentials, customer outcomes or testimonials.

Source checks

For each factual claim, the editor records the primary URL, the relevant passage, the date checked and what the source does not establish. A link is not enough: the claim must match the source. Dynamic travel rules and prices should be checked again at the point of use. We do not reproduce generalised country price lists as personal financial advice.

Publication and updates

Articles display publication and update dates. An update date changes only for substantive reviewed changes. Stable URLs are retained. Related articles link to one another so readers can inspect the underlying method rather than relying on an isolated answer block.

Corrections

Use the contact address to identify the URL, disputed statement and supporting source. A substantive correction receives a dated note explaining what changed. Typographical fixes need not change the substantive update date. Urgent errors affecting money, travel or privacy take priority over a new daily article. The initial correction register is empty; this is not a claim that the material has no errors.

Images and examples

Editorial illustrations carry a clear caption. We do not present fictitious client faces or testimonials. The sample memo is a constructed scenario with fictional amounts, not a real case anonymised after delivery.

Commercial interests

The publisher sells the sprint described on this site. Educational pages may link to it, but free checklists do not require purchase. Any future partner commission must be disclosed next to the recommendation. No transfer-provider affiliate relationship is active on this site.

Discovery in search

Clear headings, useful answers, source links, structured data and accessible pages support discovery. They do not guarantee indexing or rankings. We report only appearances actually observed.
